Lovely scent - it does have a little spice in it and maybe a little musk (?)( but it evens out when it drys).

I purchased this based solely on the reviews, as the Henri Bendel Vanilla Bean oil is my absolute favorite & getting harder & harder to come by on auction sites. I was pleasantly surprised at the closeness of the 2 scents - the original has just a little more kick to it, but the difference is minimal. I purchased the SOS concentration to use in my oil burner & I am confident enough in the closeness of the scents to purchase a stronger concentration next time around - hopefully finding that kick the original has. I am a new customer & this was my first order, & it was an excellent experience. I will be ordering more soon no doubt!...

This is a dead on match for the BBW Vanilla Bean Henri Bendel scent. I LOVE IT!!! I had also ordered the one called "Vanilla Bean Candle Henri Bendel [Type*] : Oil" at the same time and I would say to SKIP that one. It smells nothing like the original. Order this one instead (the one without the word "candle" in the description. :)...

This is a great fragrance! It smells masculine to me with vanilla and some type of spicy-ness. I had the sos concentration and used it in jell jars. It had a nice strong scent and many people like it....
