This is a really cool fragrance. I agree with the person who called this industrial. The initial scent is something like paint thinner or gasoline BUT after it breathes for a few seconds you get the dry dusty chalk scent that reminds me of old school chalk boards. This would be an awesome blender. I haven't tried it in cp soap yet....

This is a good construction chemical novelty scent. I think this would do better as Coal/Tar scent.

I love this scent! I ordered it because other reviewers said it reminded them of a basement scent, which is my very favorite. This does capture that cold, dry smell of a basement...... and also smells just like fresh drywall. OOB it is pretty strong and chemically. It smells great on skin, but the smell fades almost as soon as it dries (that's why I only gave it 4 stars. Scent is perfect dry wall. SOS sniffie)...

A strong scent that I passed off as Rock Chalk for my designs. I think it is very accurate and the scent last for a long time.

"Whoa! How did they do that!?" was my first reaction. Dry mineral smell like, well, just like gypsum sheetrock! Wizardry, absolute wizardry. Can't wait to mix it for a modern urban fragrance.

I ordered this in 1/2 extreme concentration as part as a "create your own sampler set". I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 only because out of the bottle and when first applied to the skin it smells of rubber, almost like brand new sneakers. therefore it leads to some concern that if mixed improperly would make perfumes or colognes smell rubery when first applies. Though as the scent dries down it gives off that dry and chalky smell i was hoping for. Also it smells great when mixed adding a dry and earthy element to the fragrance....

I ADORE this fragrance. It's actually super basementy with a hint of paint thinner/lacquer. The dry down is nice, even in the SOS.

This is what I thought Basement oil would smell like. Green not quite mildew, chalky drywall smell, slightly sour. Smells exactly like an old, slightly damp basement. Amazing. Thumbs up for capturing this. I have the SOS concentration...

A nice Different novelty scent! It does smell chalky almost clay-like! Taking the best notes from "Dirt" and adding a sharp yet fleeting dry smell make this FO truly unique. I feel like it "could" be enhanced further with a note of something more powdery but it does have a great dry mineral-like scent that would be an excellent blender with earthy fragrances! Strong scent. Reminds me more of powdered clay, plaster of paris, or powdered dry wall compound....
